Her likes in regard to fashion are the opposite of mine and while I could then easily pick out something I loathe, I want it to be something I find precious too in a way. Besides, something I loathe wouldn't be worthy of a gift, especially considering the fact that...I don't find "everything" Wynd likes as appaulling. I actually adore her sense of fashion. It is solely: some items she would purchase, I would never purchase for myself, you know?
Anywhoo.
'Nother reason why its difficult is perhaps knowing the person too well, and all their likes --- (constantly asking yourself) but what would they like BEST as a gift?
Third, having a supah strong bond with them makes me want to purchase for them something beyond this world; dazzling! which could be impossible to obtain or equally mad expensive.
And if the option isn't available (to buy or create the pricey object) one may want to buy such a special someone a plethora of cheaper items instead!
The problem develops further in terms of size and weight. Shipping I have to deal with because Wynd isn't your ordinary girl-next-door~
Nth reason: It's just hard. They want certain items you couldn't possibly get or try your hardest to find but fail in the end, having to resort to smaller gifts that they may not have asked for.
&&&Lastly: In the end you realize that you'd simply give them the world. In all this fuss and fury, what you really want to give them is just that. And that's the hardest part.
